ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Associate Director Product Strategy will be a member of the team that is tackling some of the most impactful and complex initiatives within our Product organization. This individual will partner closely with Product Insights and Technology leaders to identify new growth opportunities and dogs not barking in our organization and come up with creative productdriven solutions to solve them. You will work across both Creator and Consumer domains to shape our longterm strategy and product roadmap. You will dive deep with leaders across multiple product and crossfunctional areas to define customer problems and deliver productdriven solutions. Successful candidates for this position will have strong problem solving analytical and communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority along with a good understanding of product development/strategy and the digital media / tech landscape.

ABOUT YOU
Were looking for a leader with a blend of strategy product management and/or operations experience. Experience in the digital media industry is a bonus. This person must have the business acumen to understand and shape Audibles companywide strategy while proactively identifying gaps and risks and partnering with senior leaders to define creative solutions to solve them. We are looking for a selfstarter who is biased for action and thrives in a fastpaced environment. Candidates for this role should be datadriven and adaptable readily willing to abandon closely heldideas in favor of stronger evidence.

As an Associate Director Product Strategy you will...
Partner with product design and technology leaders to source prioritize and assess longterm business and innovation opportunities
Provide thought leadership to influence crossorganization initiatives and the strategic direction of the Product and Insights organization
Identify and articulate problems to be solved in service of improving the customer experience
Collaborate with Insights Data Science and Finance leaders to analyze existing data define and fill data gaps and calculate ROI and P&L impact for strategic product initiatives
Work with product design and technology partners to craft solutions with supporting narratives and roadmap recommendations
Develop decisive datadriven recommendations into presentationready deliverables for senior leaders
Mentor team members across Product Strategy Product Management and Insights leading without direct authority to influence roadmap outcomes
Facilitate decision making around tradeoffs and align senior product leaders on outcomes
Identify how strategies translate to executional implications for teams of large scale

Bachelors degree in a related field
6 years of experience with a combination of consulting strategy operations and/or product management roles
Writing skills
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
Ability to think creatively and prioritize a roadmap while building consensus and momentum
Proven experience rallying and bringing together varying functional teams getting buyin on hotly debated topics

2 year in a media or tech organization
Can provide information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions
MBA
