We are looking for a Design Engineer in the following locations:

Houston TX
Chicago IL

What Youll Do:

Apply sound engineering and technical skills to support Process Hazard Analysis and Process Safety Information.
Stay current with Process Safety Management regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with the Process Safety Management team to ensure deliverables meet client industry and government specifications and standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in chemical engineering from ABET accredited university.
This position involves 50 travel within the region which includes driving to project sites.
Must have a valid drivers license without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge in process safety management preferred.
Internship at a refinery or a Process Safety Management internship is preferred.
Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology degree may also be considered.

& Salary: This position pays between $70000 and $72000 annually and is an exempt position.

Benefits offered include company sponsored medical dental vision and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement voluntary life disability critical illness accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
