As a technician you would be working in a shop environment where your technical and mechanical skills will be developed to recondition drytype and liquidfilled transformers.
This is not an assemblyline factory job. Its a fastpaced hardworking but very rewarding environment where you will be part of a team of qualified technicians who rebuild industrial transformers. Your daytoday activities will involve the evaluation disassembly reconditioning and reassembly of electrical transformers; removing/replacing accessories cleaning and repairing parts replacing gaskets and seals and performing basic MIG welding and metal fabrication. You will also be trained in basic electrical testing as well as inventory evaluation paint and quality control procedures.

More about You:
- You love working with your hands to fix things and solve problems.
- Youre comfortable with online documentation and webbased software systems (with computer & smartphone)
- Youre a good communicator; inperson over the phone and via email.
- Youre a good learner; not a knowitall.
Basics:
- This position works 4045 hours per week on a 4day a week schedule. All daytime schedule (not night shift). Schedule changes slightly during Summer/Winter but is generally 6:00 AM 5:00 PM. Some paid overtime is available during peak times.
- Employees are required to meet basic physical requirements for a heavyequipment environment. Occasional exposure to confined spaces. Must know how to use basic hand tools follow written instructions etc.

Experience & Education:
We value skills and experience (welding fabrication general shop/mechanical skills auto body prep/paint) but were also willing to invest in training earlycareer candidates with the right attitude and ambition.
Pay: Starting range is $24.15 $31.50 per hour. Plus bonus and other benefits including up to $1k/month wellness stipend.This position has a path to promotion to Level 2 Tech which earns up to $36.75 per hour and can continue growing from there.
