About the Position:
Maropost is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team in India office and help us build functional systems that improve customer experience.
The role will be based in Europe. Core working hours for this role are 9:00am5:00pm CET /2 hours).
What you will be responsible for:
- Maintains monitors and supports the infrastructure environment and/or facilities.
- Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to complex (complexity defined by size technology used and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users ensuring control integrity and accessibility.
- Acts as the technical liaison between operations teams engineers and architects providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.
- Participates in the design implementation and of backup and disaster recovery plans for infrastructure solutions.
- Actively monitors and publishes the availability plan discussing the ability of the IT infrastructure to meet the availability requirements of the business.
- Monitors application/database performance and recommends changes.
What you will bring to Maropost:
- 4 years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Should have hands on experience in cloud technologiesAWS (Amazon Web Services) andGCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Should have working experience in docker containers andDockerfile
- Should have working experience in Kubernetes orchestration.
- Should have working experience with infrastructure orchestration tools (Terraform)
- Should have working experience in CI/CD pipelines softwareautomation production systems.(Ex. Google Cloud Build Gitlab CI etc.
- Should have understanding on versioning tools like Git GitHub or Bitbucket
- Should have working experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana New Relic)
- Should have good understanding in UNIX based operating systems
