The Lead Program Communication will drive the strategic communication efforts for programs ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves leading a team overseeing content creation and managing knowledgesharing initiatives. The individual will play a key role in enhancing program visibility developing impactful communication materials and curating knowledge products to support advocacy stakeholder engagement and evidencebaseddecisionmaking. Regular field visits will help capture insights and translate them into compelling communication outputs.

ABOUT US AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health agriculture education and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments social sector organizations academic and research institutions and domain experts to identify realworld problems and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.

Build and lead a highperforming program communications team ensuringalignment with organizational values and strategic direction.
Define and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned withorganizational goals and programmatic priorities.
Guide crosssector teams in establishing and maintaining impactful programcommunication systems to ensure coherence and alignment with strategic
objectives.
Lead and oversee the endtoend facilitation of all communicationdocumentation and knowledgesharing initiatives for programs
Ensure timely and highquality production of program materials including casestudies policy briefs advocacy content impact reports and processdocumentation.
Curate a repository of knowledge products that supports organizational learningevidencebased decisionmaking and stakeholder engagement.
Develop compelling communication materials to influence policy change and advocacy efforts effectively showcasing programmatic impact.
Mentor and train internal teams to strengthen their communication anddocumentation capabilities fostering a culture of excellence.
Conduct regular field visits to identify impactful program stories innovationsand best practices.
Translate field insights into actionable communication products that resonatewith diverse audiences.
REQUIREMENTS
Masters degree in Communications Journalism Public Policy or a related field.
8 years of experience in program communications knowledge management oradvocacy with a minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in strategic communication documentation and impactstorytelling.
Proven ability to develop communication materials for advocacy and policyinfluence.
Experience in leading teams and collaborating across crossfunctional sectors.
Proficiency in knowledge management systems and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to conduct field research and translate insights into engaging content.
