Nurse Educator

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will serve as a clinical expert and educational resource on PraderWilli Syndrome (PWS) for healthcare providers caregivers and patients. This role requires a highly skilled registered nurse (RN) with 3 years of experience in endocrinology and 5 years of overall clinical nursing experience. The CNE will provide facetoface and virtual education ensuring a comprehensive understanding of PWS disease state treatment protocols medication administration dosing adjustments safety considerations and side effect management.

The ideal candidate must have an active unrestricted nursing license be Bachelors or Masters prepared and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The role requires strong adaptability problemsolving and a patientcentered approach with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. The CNE must also be compliancedriven and maintain adherence to all regulatory confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Education / Licensure:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN).

Active unrestricted RN license in State of Residence or Multistate Compact.

Experience:

Required: 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a patientcare setting.

Required: 3 years of endocrinology experience (preferably working with rare diseases or metabolic disorders).

Preferred experience working with pediatric patients particularly those with complex or rare conditions such as PraderWilli Syndrome or others.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong ability to communicate across diverse audiences (patients caregivers HCPs and internal stakeholders).

Demonstrated adaptability problemsolving and attention to detail.

Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a collaborative approach.

Compliance awareness and adherence to regulations in all engagements.

Proficiency in documentation and maintaining accurate records.

Strong relationshipbuilding skills and ability to integrate into multidisciplinary teams.

Role Responsibilities:

Clinical Education & Training:

o Provide disease state education on PraderWilli Syndrome to healthcare professionals caregivers and patients.

o Educate on treatment protocols medication administration dosing adjustments and safety measures.

o Support the understanding of side effect management and treatment adherence.

o Utilize only approved educational materials and resources.

Patient & Provider Engagement:

o Conduct facetoface engagements with HCPs patients and caregivers in clinical and community settings.

o Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams including endocrinologists primary care providers and specialists.

o Ensure educational interactions are tailored to the audience from young patients to highly educated professionals.

Compliance & Professional Standards:

o Adhere to relevant regulatory compliance and professional boundary standards.

o Maintain confidentiality in all interactions.

o Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.

Travel & Flexibility:

o Willingness to travel up to 80 of the time with 2 overnight stays per week on average.

o Adapt to various settings audiences and schedules to meet education and engagement needs.

Collaboration & Documentation:

o Work closely with internal teams HCPs and other stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes.

o Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all educational activities.

o Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset staying updated on PWS advancements and treatment protocols.

Maintain high ethical standards and act as a professional ambassador of the company and clinical nursing field.

Demonstrate accountability in all interactions and decisionmaking processes.

Exhibit professionalism in all communications both written and verbal with all stakeholders.

Adhere to professional boundaries while maintaining compassionate and effective patientcentered engagement.

Seek ongoing professional development and maintain competency in the role through continuing education.

Maintain current and unencumbered RN license.

Utilize feedback from professional colleagues and customers to assure information disseminated to patients and HCPs is accurate and clinically sound.

o Adapt to a variety of clinical settings: academic private office community and patient home.

Time Allocation:

Allocates time and prioritizes accounts in territory in collaboration with Customer.

Spends approximately 80 of time in the field or virtually supporting patients 20 of time on administrative work.

All Salaried employees are expected to work the hours requested by customer to meet customer needs corporate objectives and administrative objectives.


Physical Requirements:

Extensive use of telephone virtual and facetoface communication requiring accurate perception of speech

Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers

Regular sitting for extended periods of time

Frequent travel via automobile and airplane.
