Anthony ScottoRestaurants is currently looking for aPastry Cheffor one ofour Fine Dining restaurants.
At Anthony ScottoRestaurants our culinary teams are constantly evolving to keep our offerings freshand exciting. We accomplish this by using the finest quality ingredientsavailable regardless of cost and by updating our menus to reflect the flavorsof each season. Our steakhouse cuisine has expanded beyond the classics toinclude worldrenowned sushi and sashimi exotic cuts of beef flavorfulcomposed dishes and fresh seafood flown in from around the globe.
All our restaurantsfeature awardwinning wine lists with over 450 different vintages of wine bythe bottle and 40 wines by the glass plus creative homemade desserts imaginedand prepared by our inhouse pastry chefs.
Here at Anthony ScottoRestaurants we believe in cultivating our employees to be the best that finedining has to offer. Our trained Pastry Chefs work side by side with our ExecutiveChefs to develop a dessert menu that perfectly complements our menu and theconcept of the restaurant. We are looking for artistic and innovative innovatedindividuals to elevate the visual and culinary appeal of our desserts. The goal is to enhancecustomer satisfaction so that we can maintain and expand our clientele.
The ideal candidates havea minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a fine dining highvolumerestaurant.

We are looking forindividuals who are looking to be leaders and innovators in the culinary worldto drive our business forward.
Additionalresponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare a wide variety ofgoods such as cakes cookies pies bread etc. following traditional andmodern recipes
Create new and excitingdesserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
Decorate pastries usingdifferent icings toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautifuland exciting
Monitor stocks for bakingingredients such as flour sugar etc. and make appropriate orders withinbudget
Check the quality ofmaterial and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
Guide and motivate pastryassistants and bakers to work more efficiently
Identify staffing needsand help recruit and train personnel
Maintain a lean andorderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
Recruit and train newkitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
Create schedules forkitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
Adhere to and implementsanitation regulations and safety regulations.
