About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use):
10We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to develop implement and maintain Javabased applications and systems. As a key member of our engineering team you will collaborate with other software engineers product managers and designers to develop robust scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain Javabased applications services and APIs.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Write clean efficient and welldocumented code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure highquality releases through automated and manual testing.
- Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience 5 years) working as a Java Software Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of its core libraries frameworks and JVM internals.
- Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL NoSQL and ORM frameworks.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of software development principles such as objectoriented design design patterns and data structures.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven Gradle or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript HTML CSS) is a plus.
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit Mockito and Selenium.
- Experience with JUnit Mockito and automated testing frameworks.
- Good problemsolving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and a fastpaced environment.
