Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Overnight Counselor who will be primarily responsible for the overall monitoring and safety of the residents at the site.
Position: Weekend Overnight Counselor
Location: Brooklyn NY (MacDougal Street)
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 12am8am
Salary: $19.00/hr.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read log for updates instructions and assignments
Filing organizing charts photocopying etc. as assigned and/or as needed
Provide brief counseling as needed; redirect to core staff when appropriate
crisis intervention as needed
Weekly medication counts; check for accuracy and corresponding documentation
Perform hourly walkthroughs of site during your shift
Participate in monitoring of medication as needed
Attend sites monthly staff meetings
Attend agency forums
Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings
Requirements: Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
