The Opportunity

Join our Canadian Advanced Analytics (AA) team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and lead the charge in modernizing operations and reimagining automation through AI! In this highimpact role you will spearhead the development of AI solutions in Operations transforming how we operate and interact with data. While intelligent document processing and analytics will be a key deliverable your expertise will drive the creation of scalable enterprisegrade AI/ML solutions that redefine efficiency and unlock new possibilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • AI Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement advanced machine learning models using Generative AI techniques to tackle complex business challenges focusing on operational modernization and automation.

  • Advanced Prompt Engineering and Model Tuning: Master prompt engineering to guide LLMs toward desired outcomes. Finetune models for specific tasks and implement RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) to improve model accuracy.

  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Engage with teams from various functions to discover automation opportunities with significant impact outline project scope and create solution roadmaps for innovative solutions.

  • Rigorous Experimentation and Optimization: Design and complete rigorous A/B tests using advanced statistical methods to validate model performance. Employ techniques such as Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) for model refinement.

  • AI Thought Leadership and Mentorship: Advocate for standard methodologies and processes in MLOps and LLMOps including model versioning and monitoring. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation.

  • Stay at the Forefront of AI Innovation: Continuously research and evaluate advancements in AI/ML LLMs and cloud technologies. Integrate these advancements into our solutions driving automation and competitive advantage.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or related field.

  • 4 to 6 years of experience working with largescale systems; experience in intelligent document processing is a plus.

  • Deep Technical Expertise: Extensive handson experience with stateoftheart LLMs (e.g. GPT4 Llama 3 and related tools.

  • Cloud Platforms: Deep understanding of Azure services including Azure ML and Azure Kubernetes Service.

  • Frameworks: Proficiency in frameworks like LangChain and RAGAS.

  • Programming: Expertlevel proficiency in Python and rapid adoption of new libraries and methodologies.

  • Databases: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience with vector databases like Pinecone.

  • Operations Experience: Experience in managing highavailability systems.

  • Full Stack Engineering Exposure: Ability to build proof of concepts/demos including frontend and backend development.

  • Adaptability: Proficiency in quickly picking up new frameworks and libraries.

  • Portfolio Showcase: Ability to showcase a portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and accomplishments.

Salary range is expected to be between

$94220.00 CAD $174980.00 CAD
