Position Title: Senior Manager
Job Description:
The Senior Manager at EXLService LLC in New York NY will perform data analysis on clients data and recommend management solutions to identify gaps in processes for greater efficiency. Develop hypotheses and validate them based on analysis of data. Analyze information evaluate results for best solution and present findings to senior management. Identify right data sources required to inform relevant insights metrics and understand key business trends. Transform data into usable format before deriving information from the same. Build a deep understanding of data required to execute analyses consult and guide client. Process and extract data from various file formats and different sources including DB2 SQL Server MySQL to generate insights. Collect requirements from data management for data validation and external data reconciliation and provide guidance on appropriate outputs. Automate current and future data extraction/manipulation processes using SAS/SQL/Unix. Design and develop SAS/SQL analytical process to support current and future applications within Medicare area. Test and document all deliverables. Guide team on best practices for optimization of codes. Program and write queries codes setup functions and process data using EXL analytics methodologies and analysis tools to perform all of the following: data extraction data understanding variable reduction Big Data processing data analysis model development model stabilization and model validation summarization visualization and presentation. Create/study data dictionaries to establish reliability accuracy and relevance of data. Use visualization software to create charts tables and other tools to highlight key trends and recommendations. Telecommuting permitted. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
Job Requirements:
Requires Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics economics mathematics analytics or a related field plus three 3 years of experience in the job offered in Management Analysts or a related occupation. Requires three 3 years of experience in the following: 1 writing SQL queries and managing databases including Microsoft SQL Server; 2 designing and developing interactive dashboards in Tableau for realtime data monitoring and decision support. Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following: 3 Developing and implementing data analysis pipeline using Python to extract insights from large datasets; 4 Managing data storage using Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and distributed storage solutions; and 5 designing dynamic PivotTables and PivotCharts in Excel to analyze large datasets and present key insights. Employer will also accept a Bachelors degree plus five 5 years of experience in the job offered in statistics economics mathematics analytics or a related field in lieu of a Masters degree plus three 3 year of experience in the job offered in Management Analysts or a related occupation. Any suitable combination of education training or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
40 hours/week 9:00am5:00pm Salary range: $160000 to $166000/year.
