VHIR offers a vacancy for a Graduate Technician with experience in in vitro experiments and management needs.
The candidates will be hired within a national project (CPPto participate in providing all in vitro validation (safety and efficacy) of the proposed therapy. In addition the candidate will participate in the general routine techniques and procedures in the lab. Our group runs the Unit 20 on in vivo experimental research also known as Functional Validation & Preclinical Research (FVPR).
FVPR/U20 is a service platform offering customized assays for the production and functional validation of diagnostic or therapeutic compounds. FVPR/U20 is also part of the ICTSNanbiosis a reference infrastructure in the development of biomaterials and nanomedicines. FVPR/U20 operates under the ISO9001:2015 quality management system.

and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biosciences (Biology Biochemistry Pharmacy or related fields
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in laboratory work
- Lab management skills including analytical organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in computer skills particularly in MS Office
Desired:
- Experience in cell culture tissue processing molecular biology techniques (ELISA WB qPCR etc. and cellular biology (cell cytometry)
- Fluency in Catalan Spanish and English
- We are looking for a person with a handson attitude who is flexible and adaptable. Additionally the following personal skills are desirable:

Main responsibilities and duties:
- Support to in vitro experimentation from basic cell culturing to molecular biology.
- Support to in vivo experimentation processing of mouse tissue samples from plasma and serum extraction and tissue homogenization.
- Data registry.

- Administrative and laboratory management tasks.
Labour conditions:
- Fulltime position: 40h/week
- Incorporation: Immediate
- Length of the contract: Until April 30 2026
- Gross annual salary for graduated Technician: 23.51200 according to salary tables at VHIR
