An opportunity has arisen at an exciting time within the Bedford Borough Council Finance team for CCAB/CIMAqualified Management Accountants within the Business Partnering/Management Accounting team. Bedford Borough Council is one of the fastest growing unitary authorities and there are some inspiring projects in the pipeline where a determined detailfocused candidate could make a real difference.
Bedfords Finance team is designed to be an effective partner to the service: driving decisions upfront to improve performance. We are now looking for motivated and enthusiastic finance professionals to join our team.
While applicants must be CCAB or CIMA qualified to be eligible for the role applications from newly qualified individuals are welcome. Local Government experience is desirable but not essential.
You must be able to work at pace and have excellent communication skills as you will be talking to a wide range of financial and nonfinance stakeholders. You will have a broad remit access to wider developmental opportunities and the support of experienced finance professionals throughout the team enabling you to unlock your potential and be the best version of yourself.
The role is fulltime 37 hours) and permanent all applications for flexible working will be considered.
