Clinical Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) Outpatient Mental Health
Location: Penn Yan NY (Beautiful Finger Lakes Region)
Employment Type: FullTime Direct Hire
Schedule: Day or Evening Shifts Available
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- LMSW: $36.20 $40.49 per hour
- LCSW: $31.55 $42.52 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to join our dynamic outpatient mental health team. In this role you will provide individual and group therapy services to clients ages 5 and up helping them navigate mental health challenges and achieve recovery goals. This position requires strong clinical skills a compassionate approach and a commitment to highquality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide evidencebased therapy services to individuals and groups.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records.
- Offer crisis intervention services including participation in an oncall rotation for emergency mental health evaluations.
- Foster a therapeutic environment that promotes client engagement and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Minimum: Masters degree in Mental Health Social Work Nursing Psychology or Art Therapy.
- Preferred: PhD in a related field.
Licensure & Certification:
- Required: Active New York State License as a Mental Health Counselor Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) Nurse or Creative Arts Therapist.
- Additional:
- Valid NYS Drivers License with a clear record per health organization policy.
- BLS Certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
- CPI Certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience:
- Minimum: 1 year of experience in a mental health or hospital setting.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting.
