The Maintenance Scheduler is the principal leader responsible for accurately scheduling work orders for routine unplanned outage and turnaround work for all craft disciplines (e.g. instrumentation electrical rotating machinery and fixed equipment etc. equipment materials and outside services at the Donaldsonville Nitrogen facility.

Scheduling Expectation
- Ensure critical workorder work steps are properly linked so efficient scheduling of resources can be allocated.
- Create schedules in CFIs Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to capture all workorders within a given event (e.g. routine unplanned outage or turnaround etc..
- Assist with event schedule development within scheduling software and maintaining workorder job step progress in CMMS to ensure accurate schedule updating.
- Develop and maintain an amicable working relationship with the facilitys various departmental personnel who have a stake in developing and maintaining routine unplanned outages and turnarounds work schedules.
- Actively manage Routine PM and Turnaround backlog work schedules.
- Uphold CFIs High Environmental Health and Safety expectation while maintaining High Craft Quality Performance and Productivity.
- Manage the preventative maintenance system to ensure equipment availability and regulatory compliance is maintained for equipment defined in the system. This will include creating and editing PM jobs and updating Entity information in CMMS.
- Ensure contract service organizations coordinate with CFIs Safety and Security departments to assure that vendors adhere to CFIs policies and procedures.
- Assist with developing annual maintenance budgets and ensure adherence of the same.
- Provide and monitor Maintenance KPIs to measure cost and spending safety and compliance asset performance downtime and Work Order Management.
- Generate and analyze scheduling reports to identify trends areas for improvement and to support decisionmaking processes.
- Understand and comply with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal control efforts. Identify and bring to the attention of supervision the departmental internal control deficiencies.
Successful incumbents will have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited university with two years of industry scheduling experience or a construction management degree with two years of industry scheduling experience or ten years of verifiable scheduling experience demonstrated in the chemical industry or a minimum of ten years operations experience and strong mechanical/instrumentation/electrical abilities.
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
- Experience utilizing various Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and scheduling software applications. Computer proficiency in Avantis SAP Primavera Microsoft Projects Excel and Word desired.
- Knowledge of the storage of product systems and loading of marine rail and truck systems is desired.
