About You
The Research Fellow/Research Assistant will work with research teams and partnerships in the School and Research Institutes. You will be required to undertake research activities in line with the Universitys research strategy. In this position you will carry out independent and/or team research which has a significant impact in the area of your specialisation and be acknowledged at a national level as being influential in expanding the knowledge of your relevant discipline.
As the Research Fellow/Research Assistant you are expected to plan develop and engage in high quality research projects that are aligned with the Universitys research focus areas. You will embed your research expertise into the life of the School through the development of highquality productivitydriven research networks across RMIT and with local and national internal and external partners. You will be expected to engage in high quality research projects to achieve success in attracting research funding and to produce high quality outputs.
This is a part time 0.4 FTE 14.4 weekly hours) position which requires the candidate to work in the Northern Hospital Epping.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Acupuncture or Chinese medicine;
Evidence of experience in delivering acupuncture treatment to manage acute pain in Australia
Have over 5 years of clinical practice and AHPRA registration as an acupuncturist or Chinese medicine practitioner with no Conditions or Restrictions with evidence of work history.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Work effectively in a team environment
Have the capacity to perform well under pressure
At least 3 years experience supervising students
Provide current evidence of Vaccination status
