Ignite Digital has an exciting opportunity for a Travel Accountant in the San Diego CA area to support the Navys NAVWAR HQ Accounting program. The Travel Accountant is responsible for the management of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program. This individual will work closely with the customer to provide a deep understanding of what their data means. This role is remote except for training and occasionally being called in for certain events.

Scope of Responsibilities:
- Management of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program.
- Provide Command support for the control and maintenance of cardholders accounts.
- Control and maintenance of cardholder accounts.
- Monitor transactions to minimize the risk of delinquency fraud misuse and abuse and provide notifications to the cardholder supervisors and senior officials.
- Provide customer service via email and phone to a wide variety of individuals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate (required) or Bachelors degree from an accredited College or University
- Must currently have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance (required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer service principles and familiarity with customer service terms processes techniques policies regulations and organizational strategic goals.
- Experience in processing concurrent tasks.
- Experience in working with other team members to accomplish large or complex tasks.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (MS Word Excel Power Point and Access).
Ability to obtain a DoD Government Security Clearance is mandatory for this position*
Salary: $55k to align with education and experience
