Job Description
Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst on the AWS Support Finance team. This role will help drive AWS Supports efforts to improve forecasting and variance analysis as well as dive deep to develop new key performance indicators.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical and possess a strong passion for personal accountability setting high standards and accuracy. AWS Support needs individuals that bring the Finance experience knowledge and the entrepreneurial aptitude to accelerate decision making and management of the business. Also needed is the intellectual capacity to produce innovative ideas and analysis and the willingness to do the heavy lifting to implement those decisions.
Key job responsibilities
Financial planning forecasting analysis processes and controls to support management reporting.
Drive the business to develop challenging goals business plans and financial plans and then help the business achieve these results.
Play a critical role in cost management controllership decisionmaking and metrics development.
Partner with the finance leaders to produce monthly and quarterly business updates for AWSs support executives and business partners.
. Lead the development of financial models that aid in key decisionmaking
. Perform adhoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management.

3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science) or Bachelors degree and 3 years of quantitative role (engineering process reengineering quality assurance) experience
4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
