Job Description
GENERAL DISCRIPTION
Responsible for the design of complex supply chain solutions by using a combination of industry experience and leading logistics software offered by third parties. Provides mentorship to other engineers & analyst. Interacts with senior management internally and externally.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identifies process gaps. Recommends and implements process improvement.
- Meets with clients regularly. Must have excellent presentation skills.
- Establishes baselines and implements performance measures.
- Use advance analytics to understand the business & drive continuous improvement
- Actively supports the sales process.
- Effectively interacts with clients Sales and Operations to create value propositions.
- Liaison between functional groups Operations Sales Clients and other Engineers.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree preferred in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or equivalent
- MBA and/or Industrial Engineering favored
- Minimum of four years of related experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Job may require extended sitting or standing use of standard office equipment.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Technical aptitude: Microsoft Office Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems Microsoft Visio Transportation Analysis Tools Network analysis tools Simulation and Inventory tools Data visualization including Tableau Spotfire and PowerBI
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
