Job Duties

Virginia Taxs Office of Technology is seeking a Telecommunications/VoIP Engineer to administer our VoIP infrastructure and to work with our Business Units to develop and deploy custom Automated Call Distributions (ACD) Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) and Intelligent Voice Response (IVR) scripts to support agency and citizen needs.

Using Agile project management techniques the Telecommunications Engineer will be instrumental to ensuring Virginia Taxs environment can quickly respond to changing needs and requirements.

This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule.

The anticipated hiring range is up to $105000 commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with providing technology support programming or networking

Experience with Windows or Linux

Ability to effectively communicate to business and technical staff

Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications and data communications

Experience in managing multiple projects within an IT environment

Additional Considerations

Experience with Cisco Call Manager Cisco UCCX Unity Informacast or Finesse

Experience with VMWare / VSphere
