Our team measure and evaluate the employee life cycle by using data to design compensation strategies for ops employees. Key job responsibilities
As an Amazon Business Intelligence Engineer you will solve unique and complex problems at a rapid pace utilizing the latest technologies to create solutions that are highly scalable. The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts and above all else is passionate about data and analytics. He/she is an expert with data modeling ETL design and business intelligence tools and passionately partners with the business to identify strategic opportunities where improvements in data infrastructure creates outsized business impact. He/she is a selfstarter comfortable with ambiguity able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail) and enjoys working in a fastpaced and global team. Its a big ask and were excited to talk to those up to the challenge!
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science/Statistics/Engineering or 4 years of relevant experience one of the following areas: Data engineering business intelligence or business analytics.
4 years of experience working with cross functional teams.
Advanced experience with Business Intelligence technologies like Tableau MicroStrategy Quicksight etc.
Advanced experience in SQL
Demonstrated strength in data modeling ETL development and data warehousing.
Advanced expertise in Excel
Experience operating highly available distributed systems of data extraction ingestion and processing of large data sets
Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear thoughtful and comprehensive analyses.
Masters degree in Computer Science Mathematics Information Systems and related field and 5 years industry experience.
Experience with programming tools (Python R etc. to create custom applications based upon analytical needs.
Experience in statistical analysis (e.g. ability to conduct analyses using regression modeling forecasting approaches and related tools)
Familiar with HR Finance or peoplerelated data Experience with Machine Learning Techniques to Understand Data Patterns and Make Predictions
Experience in managing and prioritizing a project backlog.
1 year endtoend Anaplan system implementation or similar IT app development experience (requirements gathering design build/test deploy support)**
Anaplan Certified Model Builder and/or Anaplan Certified Solution Architect Preferred**

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
