Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to support our rapidly growing Buy with Prime and Amazon MultiChannel Fulfillment businesses. Youll be responsible for counseling the sales and business development teams on a broad range of commercial licensing technology and regulatory matters and structuring drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. You will work directly with the business serving as lead counsel on strategic issues and deals and providing daytoday input on business and strategy and resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative businesscentric ways and will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
10 years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses
Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent
Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent
A mix of corporate law firm and inhouse experience is a plus
Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to crossfunctional teams
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
Excellent organizational skills ability to manage multiple projects at once follow through and meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $272500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
