Job Description

Status: Casual
Salary: $60 $80 per class 11.5 superannuation
It is a great time to join the team at Des Renford Leisure Centre. We recruit casual Group Fitness Instructors periodically throughout the year. If you would like to be considered in our next round of recruitment for this role please submit your application by clicking apply.
Purpose:
Provide supervision professional tuition advice encouragement and support to all group fitness class users; Plan and deliver quality group fitness classes in a safe fun and effective method. Provide quality customer service and respond to customer enquiries and complaints quickly and effectively. Ensure EEO WH&S the principles for a culturally diverse society and Council policies are complied with at all times. Contribute to improved customer service and Centre effectiveness by acting ethically honestly and with fairness.
About the role:
- Provide high quality professional fitness tuition to patrons of ranging ability.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Provide information and advice on fitness to the public as required.
- Maintain WH&S procedures in relation to all relevant areas of responsibility and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
About you:
- Licenses and/or Certifications for designated class
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- Cert III in Fitness (or equivalent).
