Job Description Summary
SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Level 2Overview: Intermediatelevel SLP with increased responsibilities and independence in assessing and treating speech and language disorders. Takes an active role in developing and implementing treatment plans documentation and collaboration.
Job Tasks:
Assessment:
oConducts comprehensive evaluations of speech and language skills using a variety of diagnostic materials and tools.
oDevelops and adjusts treatment plans based on detailed assessment results.
Treatment:
oIndependently implements and modifies treatment plans.
oUtilizes advanced intervention approaches strategies and materials.
oEstablishes and prioritizes treatment goals providing advising and education to patients and families.
Documentation:
oMaintains accurate and timely documentation of assessments and progress.
oEnsures compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
Collaboration:
oEffectively collaborates with physicians family members and other clinical providers.
oDirects and mentors support staff in assisting with treatment.

Speech Language Pathologist I

*Postgraduate degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA accredited program.
*Work Experience: >1 year
*Current SC state licensure required.
*ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
*Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA)
Additional Job Description
Education: Postgraduate degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA accredited program. Work Experience: 1 year. Current SC state licensure required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
