Be a part of operating the worlds largest cloud computing infrastructure. Amazon Web Services is seeking bright motivated hardworking individuals to fill Data center Logistics Specialist positions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic attention to detail the ability to meet deadlines and a commitment to Safety & Operational Excellence.
Logistics Specialists monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities. They receive parts maintain inventory and checkout parts as needed to Data center Technicians and Engineers. They will also be responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations.
This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products. Logistics Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company. They must also maintain the cleanliness organization and safety of all work spaces. They must be available to work weekend shift work.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment as well as experience and knowledge of reverse logistics processes. Experience handling vendor relationships is helpful.

Key job responsibilities
Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate validated and ready for processing
Assembling addressing stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials
Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pickups to and from production locations
Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
Understand all aspects of production adhere to strict safety standards maintain very high quality and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker).

High school diploma or equivalent
1 years of logistics or other relevant experience
1 year of experience in shipping & receiving inventory and warehousing practices
Warehouse Management Software / Inventory Management Software proficiency
Familiar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies
Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
