Join our collaborative team of multidisciplined healthcare professionals dedicated to providing toptier dental services to active ADF members.
About our Dentist role
As a Casual Dentist you will hold the pivotal responsibility for delivering comprehensive dental services to patients. All our casual hours are Monday to Friday between 7am and 4pm. Ideally we would like someone who could be available for 2 days a week.
Duties and responsibilities include but not be limited to:
- emergency treatments
- routine examinations to preventative measures
- restorations
- minor oral surgeries
- xray diagnostics
- extractions
- root canal therapies
- design and management of prosthodontic solutions.
As the ideal applicant you will have:
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist General with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years fulltime post graduate clinical chairside experience within the last 5 years (or parttime equivalent)
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
- A current First Aid (HLTAID011 and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009 certificate
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence security clearance
About the Robertson Health Centre
Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze 15km east of the city of Darwin. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2800 defence staff with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The Health Centre provides primary medical pharmaceutical dental physiotherapy and mental health services and operates a 22bed 24/7 ward. Standard operating hours areMondayFriday.
