Do you want to help create the Amazon devices that delight customers worldwide every day like Echo Fire TV and Kindle Amazons Devices & Services business is looking for a talented contract manager to support our rapidly evolving business.
Youll work closely with engineering business development cybersecurity and product teams on technology development and IPrelated matters. Youll draft revise and negotiate a range of agreements including software licenses services agreements and work orders. Youll be a central point of contact for the crossfunctional teams developing Amazon devices and help them address their legal needs.
The position will require guiding technology development clients to the right engagement structure spotting and solving contractual issues managing a contracts database and developing simplifications to help the business scale.
You must have excellent written and oral communication as this position involves direct contact with business leaders stakeholders and external parties. Flexibility strong organizational skills and a selfstarting work ethic are desired.
BA/BS required. 5 years of contracts management paralegal or other comparable experience within a law firm or an inhouse legal department with responsibility for reviewing drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of commercial contracts. Experience working with MS Office including Excel Powerpoint and Sharepoint.
Previous inhouse legal experience is a plus. Experience related to technology companies especially consumer electronics manufacturers is a plus. Ability to work independently while also contributing successfully to crossfunctional teams. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once follow through and meet deadlines. Strong communication and analytical skills. Sound judgment including in ambiguous situations.
