Job Description

Required Education/Experience: Bachelors degree AND:

  • 24 months in office and financial management.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelors degree for a total of 72 months of experience.

Skills:

  • Proficient navigating and maintaining databases.
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR PeopleSoft
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong initiative to solve problems.
  • Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students faculty and staff.
  • Excellent customer service

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to see hear communicate engage in repetitive motions stand reach and grasp.
  • Standard office environment.

Departmental Preferences:

  • PeopleSoft OU payroll system knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

The Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost seeks an organized collaborative staff member to join the Academic Personnel Records team. This position will interact frequently with departments under Academic Affairs providing centralized customer service in the processing of their academic personnel transactions and management of the related relevant data within University policy. This position will report to the Director of the Academic Personnel Records.

All employees of the Provost Office are required to be accessible and cooperative and to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism customer service and ethics.
