What Youll Do:
Secure & Optimize Enterprise Networks Design deploy and manage nextgeneration firewalls (NGFW) network security solutions and infrastructure across cloud and onprem environments.
Lead Firewall Migrations & Implementations Migrate from Cisco Checkpoint or Fortinet to Palo Alto or Cisco Firewalls.
Manage Advanced Network Protocols Configure and troubleshoot BGP OSPF EIGRP VLANs and SDWAN.
Provide Technical Leadership & Customer Engagement Work directly with clients to assess needs develop solutions and ensure smooth implementations.
Serve as a SeniorLevel Escalation Point Tackle complex network security challenges and mentor junior engineers.
Ensure Compliance & Best Practices Implement security standards such as SOX SOC2 and PCI ensuring networks meet regulatory requirements.
Perform Network Assessments & Optimization Provide recommendations to improve security performance and resilience.
What You Bring:
7 years of experience in network and security engineering with handson work in complex environments.
Deep expertise in enterprisegrade firewalls Strong knowledge of Cisco Firepower Palo Alto NGFW Cisco ISE and cloudbased security.
Strong understanding of network protocols BGP OSPF EIGRP SDWAN VLANs and advanced routing.
Certifications preferred Cisco CCNP CCDP or Palo Alto PCNSA PCNSE.
Cloud networking experience Handson expertise with AWS Azure or GCP.
Proven ability to work independently and lead projects in a consultant or senior engineering role.
Excellent communication skills Comfortable working with clients explaining technical solutions and driving results.
A proactive problemsolving mindset Ability to diagnose and resolve network security challenges efficiently.
