Secondary Math Teacher New Zealand
Start date: July 2025
Prospero Teaching alongside a number of Secondary Schools across New Zealand would like to welcome Math Teachers to join their schools for a July 2025 start date. The schools are eager to hear from experienced New Zealand or overseastrained teachers ideally who have taught right through secondary level (Grades 312.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master of Education or PostGraduate Diploma in Education
- Be eligible to work and teach in New Zealand
- Received or in the process of applying for a NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority)
- Receivedor in the process of registeringfor EC15 (Education Council)
- Be willing to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check
- Be able to offer two professional teaching references covering the last two years
The Successful Candidate will:

If youre an overseastrained teacher planning to come to New Zealand to fill a teaching vacancy or a returning New Zealandtrained teacher you might be eligible for an Overseas Relocation Grant. This grant can provide you with financial support of up to $10000 NZD.
