About the Role
Quantum Metric is looking for an experienced commissions specialist who is smart passionate and processoriented to join our growing finance team and support the team in executing on its vision of providing worldclass financial and analytical support insight and advice to support one of the worlds fastestgrowing global technology companies.
In this role you will be a critical member of a topnotch team and play a key role in supporting our variable compensation functions to support the organizations continued growth.
Our team is focused on producing and reporting on timely accurate financial information and on supporting the highestpriority business needs through our use of modern systems and industrystandard best practices while creating an environment where team members enjoy coming to work and are proud of our contributions to the companys success.
Responsibilities
- In this role you will be responsible for one of the organizations most highlyvisible and missioncritical functions where you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide exceptional service to our elite GTM team by ensuring consistently accurate and timely commission processing coupled with responsive and empathetic support for all commissionrelated inquiries
- Execute commission calculations with razorsharp accuracy ensuring precise and timely payouts to our 100 person GTM team and upholding the highest standards of financial integrity
- Serve as a subject matter expert on variable compensation programs policies and technology; which will enable you to effectively manage deadlines escalate issues as they arise and champion a mindset of process improvement across the compensation function
- Perform monthly reconciliations of commissions accrual accounts record commissionrelated journal entries and support accounting functions related to commissions
- Work closely on crossfunctional teams including sales leadership revenue operations people team legal and finance to coordinate the development implementation and of variable compensation plans
- Grow into a role where you can take the lead on performing detailed analysis of attainment costs and other businesscritical people/performance metrics and share with leadership to facilitate a more robust understanding of our business
- Perform audit/reconciliation functions and respond to complex and sensitive employee inquiries concerning commissions with discretion
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 47 years experience in commissions revenue operations FP&A accounting/payroll or applicable equivalent function
- Established track record of successfully leveraging technology and designing/building process improvements designed to drive efficiency
- Comfort with coordinating with and working alongside remote teams and the ability to work from an inperson office when necessary such as to coordinate large projects or important deadlines
- Experience working with largescale enterprise sales compensation programs for highgrowth companies that have seen rapid sales growth
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in a fastgrowing environment where change is the norm; strong multitasking skills and flexibility to quickly move from one project to the next
- Strong organizational skills detail and accuracyoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Demonstrates our core values of passion persistence and integrity
- Experience with our accounting techstack which includes Netsuite (ERP) Xactly Incent (Variable Compensation) and Salesforce (CRM) are preferred as well as strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- We are seeking candidates within a commutable distance to our Denver and Colorado Springs offices. While this role is 95 remote you will be required to visit the office 12 days per month.
