We are looking for a motivated SDE II with the desire and talent to contribute and lead to this vision. This person will have a track record of success delivering new features or products. This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products and services in a hypergrowth environment where priorities shift fast. This person has strong design and implementation experience and a strong knowledge of web services and protocols.
As a Software Development Engineer II you will design manage and own technologies in Delivery programs space and. you will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define new product features drive the system architecture and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.
Key job responsibilities
As a key member of our team you will design and build the nextgeneration systems revolutionizing the delivery experience for millions of customers worldwide.
Collaborating closely with product and partner teams you will:
Design and implement innovative features
Contribute to all aspects of agile software development (design architecture development documentation testing and operations)
Own endtoend solutions pushing the boundaries of design and architecture through fullstack development
Your focus on building highly scalable lowlatency intelligent software will have a profound impact on customer experience. To excel in this role you possess:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong selfdrive and motivation
Ability to deliver highquality results in a fastpaced environment
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
