About KOTH:
King of the Hills (KOTH) is the flagship operation of Vault Minerals Limited and one of the largest gold mines in Australia. After a significant expansion KOTH now features a 4.7 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) processing plant providing a solid platform for longterm production growth. This dynamic operation combines openpit and underground mining with exciting exploration activities driving the future. KOTH is located approximately 900 km northeast of Perth and 25 km north of Leonora within the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.
Job Description:
Vault Minerals are currently seeking a suitably qualified Electrician to join their Fixed Plant Processing Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent you will be responsible to provide quality and timely preventative electrical maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation as required to ensure operational targets are met in a safe environmentally compliant and efficient manner.
This role is offered on a 2/2 roster FIFO from Perth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Understand and comply with all operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations;
- Assist in carrying out routine electrical maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of processing plant equipment including but not limited to Gyratory Crusher conveyor belts apron feeders SAG Mill screens pumps and agitators;
- Assist in improving equipment performance and reducing operational costs;
- Assist in other areas of the operation as required ensuring operational targets are met in a safe environmentally compliant and efficient manner;
Key factors to your success include:
- Basic computer literacy
- C Class Drivers license (manual)
- Senior First Aid certificate
- Trade Certificate Electrical Worker
- Instrumentation Certificate (Desirable)
- High Voltage switching certificate
- High Risk Licenses EWP Forklift
- Maintenance experience in a Mineral Processing plant
- PLC Exposure especially Allen Bradley
- SAP or Pronto experience
