Amazon is seeking a creative communications professional with specialist experience in influencer relations to join the International Stores Comms team supporting Amazons retail business across the EMEA APAC and LatAm regions. Although the candidate may have experience across multiple communications disciplines including PR marketing and social media we are looking for an experienced team member who is skilled at building a resultsdriven influencer program from the ground up with a focus on contracted brand ambassador work. This role reports to the Director of International Stores Comms.
The candidate will be selfmotivated and enjoy a dynamic creative culture where the challenge of breaking new ground and redefining best practice is welcome. They will have a strong understanding of the current influencer marketing landscape; a track record of delivering successful insightsdriven influencer strategies and campaigns; knowledge of building and growing affiliate partnerships with influencers; awareness of how influencer relations integrate within the wider comms and marketing mix; and experience of delivering bestinclass measurement and evaluation of influencer programming.
Key job responsibilities
Developing an insightsdriven influencer strategy and establishing best practice guidance for the International Stores Comms team
Working crossfunctionally with multiple stakeholders to plan and execute influencer campaigns in support of key business objectives
Supporting local country teams to identify and strengthen relationships with key influencers and local influencer agencies
Collaborating with campaigns managers to better integrate influencer relations within wider plans
Establishing mechanisms to track and measure influencer activity related to Amazon business goals through data analysis
Owning and evolving reporting mechanisms and methodologies regularly reporting against performance goals for influencer programming
Experience of working in social media and influencer relations
Experience of working in a large international organisation ideally in retail or FMCG
Experience of influencer and social media measurement and evaluation
Experience of delivering influencer strategies for large organisations
Highly knowledgeable about the current social media landscape
Strong leader able to inspire teams and agencies to deliver results
Strategic thinker ensuring that influencer activity delivers against core business objectives
Exceptionally high judgement able to earn trust quickly with senior leaders and peers
Proactive and a selfstarter taking responsibility and making things happen often to a tight deadline
Highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Adaptable able to work in a fastpaced corporate environment
