The Opportunity:
Under general supervision of the manager leads employees in preparation of all food as indicated on menus and production schedule. Maintain safety sanitation and quality control standards. Provide top quality products and customer service in the front of the house platform cooking and is able to train employees in performing all of the related tasks in customer service. Cooperate in contributing to a positive and harmonious work environment.

This is a full time 100 FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary:
$3643 to $4299 Range 37 (Steps FM) Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Possession of or eligible for a food handlers permitANDone year of experience in quantity or institutional food preparationANDserving which includes six months experience directing the work of others; OR equivalent education/experience.
Possession of or ability to obtain a Washington Food Handlers Permit within 14 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two 2 to five 5 years food service experience.
Multifaceted food experience.
Experience leading and training employees.
General knowledge of commercial grade kitchen equipment use safety and maintenance.
