About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with a background in native mobile development to lead a group of 810 mobile engineers that craft new and improve existing features within our mobile applications. The Mobile Experience team works closely with other engineers product management data science UX design finance enterprise analytics and others to enable great client outcomes. Our mobile applications are a key area in which our clients engage and communicate with Stitch Fix. Your work will have a direct impact on the user journeys and capabilities of our iOS and Android apps. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Core Experience.

Success in this role requires strong communication people management data analysis technical expertise and relationshipbuilding skills. Success in this role requires the ability to know when to listen coach influence advocate and lead effectively. Our engineering team partners across the company to deliver highvalue solutions and operates in an agile collaborative and multitimezone environment.

- Lead a team of 810 software engineers fostering a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and teamwork while supporting their professional growth through feedback delegation coaching and mentorship.
- Drive the teams roadmap and prioritize features and technical investments in alignment with stakeholders crossfunctional partners and other engineering teams to deliver customer and business value.
- Build a diverse and talented team by sourcing identifying and hiring candidates from a broad range of backgrounds ensuring inclusivity and complementing the teams strengths and capabilities.
- Define and align the teams scope goals and key metrics with crossfunctional teams stakeholders and leadership.
- Guide architectural and implementation decisions to deliver scalable reliable and costeffective engineering solutions.
- Establish and maintain effective processes ceremonies and norms to ensure the team operates as a healthy selforganized unit.
- Take accountability for the teams performance and consistently deliver sustainable measurable results.
- Build strong partnerships across the organization gaining alignment and support to achieve desired outcomes.
- Use highquality data analysis and empirical evidence to frame business opportunities or challenges for leadership the team and crossfunctional partners.
- Manage the teams app release rotations to ensure seamless delivery.
- Monitor feedback from our iOS and Android applications and prioritize bug fixes.

- You have 5 years of experience cultivating and managing diverse inclusive and highperforming engineering teams.
- You bring 7 years of experience building and rapidly scaling realtime solutions within the software engineering discipline.
- You have 3 years of experience with handson native mobile application development.
- You excel at hiring promoting and performing talent reviews for software engineers with care and intention.
- Youve successfully led product engineering teams working on customerfacing and/or businesscritical systems.
- You have experience leveraging observability and data analysis tools like Datadog and Looker.
- You are familiar with the iOS and Google Play release processes and release monitoring.
- You understand modern iOS development tech stacks and best practices.
- You possess excellent analytical skills and communicate effectively across multiple modalities.
- You take initiativeoperate with accountability and deliver results.
- You are bright kind and motivated by challenge.
- You can prioritize simplify and make a path toward results and not dwell on perfection.
- You might have experience managing remote or colocated software engineering teams.

Compensation and Benefits
This role will receive a competitive salary benefits and equity. The salary for USbased employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someones compensationincluding a candidates professional background experience location and position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance.
