Amazons Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team is looking for a creative innovative resultsorientated Program Manager based in Seattle WA or Arlington VA to envision build and deliver Global Workplace Culture programs that enable Amazonians to thrive throughout their workday.
GREFs Workplace Culture programs conceive inclusive creative and cultural experiences to produce moments of delight curiosity and new ways of thinking for Amazonians. This includes artled programs such as Expressions and Artists in Residence community engagement initiatives such as our iconic Banana Stands and driving spatial experiences while bringing Amazon culture and Leadership Principles to life. In the future programs will evolve to focus on innovation lifelong learning and wellness.
The successful candidate is a creative experienced and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture providing vision leadership and communication not afraid to dive deep into details. They should also understand the nuance of being approachable while at the same time consultative providing direction/recommendations to our regional teams and fostering transparent relationships. The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problemsolving with an emphasis on root cause.
This role requires global travel approximately 10 of the time.
Key job responsibilities
Lead strategic development of Global Workplace Culture programs including but not limited to: 1 Assessing opportunities to globalize existing programs; 2 identifying and overseeing program deliverables; 3 aligning the program to GREFs 3YR plan; and 4 delivering an annual roadmap and setting strategic SMART goals.
Research and establish partnerships with internal and external SMEs in the areas of Art Learning Wellness and Insights and explore the integration with GREFs next generation workplace design.
Determine the viability of creative and culture ideas as it relates to GREFs workplace experience strategic initiatives and goals.
Identify implement and report on continuous improvement initiatives for existing programs leveraging customer insights to drive change. Prioritize deliverables that impact customers identifying what requires creation reengineering or amendment.
Work crossfunctionally with global and regional peers to ensure a consistent employee experience whilst respecting local and cultural nuance. Ensure organizational alignment in the design and of initiatives.
Ensure effective and proactive stakeholder engagement and communications through timely visibility to program developments using customer feedback and experiences.
Develop and build globally applicable program performance metrics Minimum Viable Experience (MVE) Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and SLAs that are constantly evolving in line with expected measures of success.
Partner with stakeholders to deploy program pilots that allow for swift and frugal program changes in response to customer needs.
Drive consistency and quality through robust scalable and detailed guidelines and playbooks.
Routinely connect to external industry and professional communities assessing new industry standards best practices current/future technology and innovations are adopted into the program.
5 years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience in a creative industry / role
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Proven decision making and problemsolving capabilities with strong follow up skills and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills with exceptional ability to translate ideas and thoughts into written documents
Demonstrated exceptional project management organization and planning skills applied in a fast paced multitasking environment
Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels in the Company
Ability to deal with issues and subject matter in ways that require considerable sensitivity discretion and high judgment
Team player comfortable working with ambiguity and willing to take on incremental responsibilities
Able to build constructive and effective relationships and use them to maneuver through complex situations
Can present ideas and directions that lead others to action demonstrates strong listening written and oral communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
