Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking an Senior Electrical Engineer with 10 years of experience who is passionate about their craft wants to work on a highfunctioning team and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic have a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun.
You would be providing our clients with electrical systems design including power lighting load calculations and coordination with other disciplines. May plan schedule conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the professional work as part of a major project or for a total project of moderate scope. May supervise or coordinate the work of other professionals who assist in specific assignments.

Duties
- Perform complete construction documents to include drawings power system studies and specification documentation.
- Perform and oversee of designs including medium and low voltage AC DC single line diagrams electrical plans and equipment layout.
- Perform and oversee of lighting design both interior and exterior calculate footcandle to ensure lighting design meets IESNA requirements.
- Participate in meetings with internal and external customers and provide engineering support through design and construction phases including but not limited to reviewing/ approving shop drawings submittals responding to RFIs and addressing AHJ comments.
- Knowledge of Title24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code.
- Review deliverables and follow QA/QC process through design and construction phases.
- Perform site visits and communicate with architects contractors and consulting teams.
- Participate in and lead internal team meetings and external client meetings.
- Present design approaches to authorities having jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across multiple offices in a multidiscipline environment.
- Work independently and supervise the efforts of a small team.
- Participate in multiple projects simultaneously and profitably.
- Maintain a working relationship with clients.
- Define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Approximate Base Salary $125000 $160000 annually
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance
- Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)
- 401k with maximum of 5 Contribution Matching for 9 Employee Contribution
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (B.S. in Engineering from accredited college or university in The Electrical Engineering field.
- 10 years of professional experience in electrical Engineering (consulting)
- Engineer in training (EIT).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
- Experience with multi family commercial institutional and higher education projects
Preferred Qualifications
- California registered Electrical engineer.
- Experience coordinating with a multidiscipline design team.
- Experience in Low Voltage security and AV systems design.
- OSHPD/HCAI/healthcare Experience.
- PV/BESS
- Experience with managing daytoday contacts with internal and external clients utilizing experience and technology to meet expectations
