Assistant Professor Theatre and Film
The Department of Theatre and Film in Jacksonville State Universitys College of Arts & Humanities is seeking to hire an assistant professor of film.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory to advanced film courses such as Introduction to Film Editing Postproduction in Film and Film Technology Foundations. This is a fulltime tenure track position on a 9 month contract with an anticipated start of Fall 2025. Applicants for this position must possess the following required qualifications:
Preference may be given to applicants with significant postproduction experience (editing audio visual effects etc. with current technologies/equipment and proficiency in Adobe CC application suite.
