Amazons TOM group is driving change in the Middle Mile. The Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team is looking for a Sr Program Manager with the location flexible between Bellevue (WA) and other ATS hubs: Tempe (AZ) Atlanta (GA) or Nashville (TN). This role would be responsible for coordinating across the organization to successfully launch and integrate new technology innovations and operational processes to be used in TOMs Transportation Yard and Gate operations. TOM PDP team is implementing transformative technology solutions into TOM teams operations. We are challenging the statusquo and looking for ways to improve and automate the experience of Yard and Gate operations. As a Sr Program Manager you will partner with stakeholders across the Surface Transportation and Middle Mile Tech organization to drive process changes driven by technology. This includes defining and writing business requirement document developing schedule of feature launches managing change management associated with process changes and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the new process/feature. These largescale projects will impact how we operate at hundreds of TOM managed Yards. Come join us building out these innovative solutions in the TOM network!
Key job responsibilities Dive deep into current processes to gather indepth understanding of the process Create and develop stories based on data and drive for datadriven decisions on process changes Drive alignment and adoption of new processes by working crossfunctionally across different teams Identify appropriate performance metrics for each program and ensure consistent measurement and accountability Travel up to 20 as needed to analyze implement and monitor best practices
5 years of program or project management experience Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership Bachelors degree
2 years of driving process improvements experience Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
