Key job responsibilities
Own the design and implementation for business intelligence architecture for Operational Excellence team using AWS platform and products.
Own the design implementation and maintenance of new ongoing metrics reports analyzes and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
Partner with technology teams to define extract transform and load data from many data sources using SQL and other tools.
Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and data issues provide data based recommendations to leaders and partner teams.
Think outside of dashboards and metrics and work with business stakeholders product teams to drive automation product and process improvements to achieve the

About the team
About the team
The AMER OpsTech Solutions (OTS) Operational Excellence (OE) team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated business intelligence leader to play a pivotal role in the design of architecture and strategy and to develop scalable business intelligence solutions. This is a tremendous opportunity to contribute and own the endend design of the data analytics framework.
OTS provides IT support and technology deployment for Amazons Operations Technology Infrastructure so that Amazon can fulfill its commitment to customers.
Operational Excellence Team adopts a data driven approach and strives for a proactive approach to issue resolution rather than a reactive response.
3 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift
Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with largescale complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
