A day in the Life:

  • Lead and manage EHS staff and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and conduct EHS training and risk assessments.
  • Represent the company in interactions with regulatory bodies.

  • Outstanding decisionmaking and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and effective communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related field (MS or equivalent experience preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of EHS experience in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety protocols.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement environments.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Expertise in regulatory compliance Chemical Safety Process Safety and Occupational Safety.
  • Strong background in Environmental Compliance and Permitting.
  • Proficient in software tools such as Outlook Excel Word and Visio.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role requires occasional travel up to 30 and the ability to manage EHS operations in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
