Location
This is a hybrid position. You must be in the Ottawa Canada office at least three days a week.
About the team
The IT Application Excellence team is responsible for supporting and managing applicatons / systems utitlized by business units in Kinaxis. In addition we deliver solutions based on business needs as well as work closely with Security and Corporate System team to ensure proper security measures in place.
This is a fulltime 8 or 12month position starting May 2025.
To be eligible for a Coop or Intern position at Kinaxis you must either be currently enrolled in fulltime education or if you are a recent/upcoming graduate your graduation date must be within 12 months of the placement end date.
What you will do
In this role you will develop and support applications managed by the Enterprise Business Systems team at Kinaxis. Our team manages various applications used by Kinaxis both internally and by customers to enable the organization to grow run smoothly and most of all make our employees partners and customers happy. May also perform other projects as assigned.
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in a program where software development is the primary focus
- Experience in the development of web applications
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Selfstarter with strong initiative
Things that Would Definitely Help
Experience with one or more of the following:
- NET framework
- C#
- Web development: HTML5 CSS JavaScript PHP ASP
- Web services: SOAP REST
- SQL
