About the Role

Based inBondiJunction you will provide support to 3 women between the ages of 30 and 45 with psychosocial disability. To provide best support the successful candidate will haveprevious experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health conditions and be confident in working with behaviours of concern.

Joining ourSupported Independent Living (SIL)team on a permanent part time basis you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to the set roster of 54 hour per fortnight below:

• Week 1: Wed 7am 3pm Thu 3:30pm 8am (sleepover) and Fri and Sat 4pm 8am (Sleepover)
• Week 2: Wed 8am 4pm Thu 2:30 8pm and Fri 8am 4pm

Key Responsibilities

• Follow personcentred support and behaviour plans
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
• Maintain thorough record keeping
• Build positive relationships with clients families and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice and control

Skills & Experience

• Experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health concerns
• Previous experience working with behaviour support plans
• An unrestricted Australian drivers licence
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
