Job Description

Summary

Community Health Services operates King Countys Public Health Centers and delivers a variety of services and resources through its programs partnerships and comprehensive services. We embody King Countys vision of health wellbeing and racial equity every day for everyone. We aim to strengthen our communitys safety net services and partnerships to deliver equitable and responsive health care for marginalized communities. Today we are nearly 650 employees strong constituting onethird of Public Health as the largest division in the department.

This is an opportunity to lead an amazing multidisciplinary team whose passion is to support our community through Primary Care Immunization Refugee Clinic and to work as a partner with the Swedish Residency Program. Youll have overall responsibility for the hiring and daily supervision of a team that may include Public Health Nurses Registered Nurses Registered Dieticians Medical Assistants Social Workers and Community Health Workers. In addition you will be a key member of a unified leadership team to provide the highest quality of integrated care for our clients. Were interested in individuals who are representative of the diverse population we serve. Youll have overall responsibility for the hiring and daily supervision of two teams that may include Public Health Nurses Registered Nurses Medical Assistants Social Workers and Community Health Workers. In addition you will be a key member of a unified leadership team to provide the highest quality of integrated care for our clients.

Requirements:


Work Schedule:This is a fully benefited 1.0 FTE. The typical schedule will fall within Downtown Public Healths normal business hours which are Monday through Friday 0800 to 1700 but may work outside the schedule to meet operational needs. This position will require travel to other sites within the Public Health System as needed. This position is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime. This is an onsite position.

Work Location:This position is based in Downtown Public Health Center 2124 Fourth Ave Seattle 98121 and requires the incumbent to be onsite.




Who May Apply:This position is open to all minimally qualified nurses which includes new to practice and reentry nurses.
