Financial Account Leasing
To assist in the management of the daytoday lease obligation calculation and AASB 16 lease accounting processes and reporting for Endeavour Group Ltd ensuring they are completed with integrity and accuracy and in a timely manner.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Implement agreed policies and procedures to improve integrity of data.
- Respond to business initiatives to ensure financial accounting activities are implemented.
- To develop a proactive approach towards the business
- Perform the turnover rent calculation as per the turnover rent clause and turnover certificate.
- Review the AASB16 events and ensure the accounting recognition is properly updated accordingly in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the landlord on any issues with turnover rent calculation.
- Prepare and post lease accounting journals including depreciation interest charges asset and liability movements in line with AASB16 requirements.
- Prepare and review shortterm and lowvalue lease entries.
- Prepare and post journals for lease remeasurement new leases acquisitions and lease surrenders.
- Review and update system settings relevant to lease accounting
- Prepare balance sheet and reconciliations investigate and review outstanding reconciliations and prepare journals for rectification where required.
- Respond to financial enquiries by gathering analysing summarising and interpreting data.
- Assist with information gathering to support the internal budgeting and forecasting processes
Qualifications :
Now lets talk about you:
- CPA/CA or equivalent
- 2 years post degree hands on accounting experience including AASB16 lease in a multilease environment.
- Exposure to MRI Horizon Nomos One PEPS or other lease management software
- Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot tables and Lookups)
- Ability to document and deliver process improvements.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Drive and tenacity to problem solve to overcome challenges.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments.
- Ability to engage various parts of the business to deliver optimal outputs
