About this Job:
QSourcing Limited trading as QSourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Accountant.
Descriptions.
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements bank reconciliations and handling daytoday financial and administration matters.
Job Location: Kigoma
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain daily bookkeeping accounting transactions and financial records by ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions such as sales expenses and payments. Maintaining organized financial records and bookkeeping entries.
Maintaining stock accounting by tracking and managing inventory levels recording stock transactions and ensuring accurate valuation of inventory.
Coordinating with Logistics and preparing cost sheets by tracking and documenting costs related to shipping transportation and inventory management.
Prepare monthly management reports and annual audited accounts by compiling and analyzing financial data to produce accurate and insightful management reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Preparing MIS reports as required by HO and Update Tally ERP9 by analyzing financial data summarizing trends and presenting reports that support decision making. Also updating and maintaining accurate financial records in Tally ERP9.
Reviewing financial and related administrative processes and recommending improvements regarding financial processes
Requirements
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor s Degree in Finance Accounting or any other related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in any accounting software preferably Tally software.
English proficiency is a must.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent computer and MS Excel skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- An analytical approach to work.
- High numeracy and sound technical skills.
- High degree of Integrity.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Able to function under high pressure and meet deadlines.
