Job Description
As a QA Automation Engineer you will ensure the reliability of healthcare analytics solutions by developing executing and maintaining test cases and automated scripts. Youll collaborate with teams analyze requirements conduct API testing manage test plans and prioritize efforts to enhance software performance accuracy and efficiency in a fastpaced datadriven environment.
Job Overview
Shift: Night Shift; Monday Friday 09:00 PM 06:00 AM (Weekends Off)
Work setup: Permanent Work From Home
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define and develop test cases.
- Execute test cases using QA best practices through tools such as Postman Katalon and manual testing.
- Organize update and maintain existing test cases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and execute test plans for regression release smoke tests and project testing.
- Assess QA efforts and approaches during story estimations.
- Participate in daily standup meetings and provide meaningful updates.
- Conduct QA analysis during requirements gathering and offer valuable input to the team.
- Execute review and maintain automated test results using Katalon Studio and Postman.
- Develop new automated tests in Katalon Studio to improve testing efficiency.
- Create and execute API tests in Postman for seamless integration testing.
- Prioritize test efforts based on risk and costbenefit analysis to maximize testing value.
- Perform release night smoke testing every two weeks at approximately 10 PM EST.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum 3 years of QA experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Advanced proficiency in manually testing user stories bugs and regression testing.
- Handson experience with ticketing systems (Jira or equivalent).
- Proficiency with test case management software (QAlity or equivalent).
- Strong expertise in API testing using Postman.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for result validation.
- Experience in writing organizing and maintaining endtoend tests using Katalon Studio.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in healthcarerelated projects.
- Background in Scrum Master methodologies.
- Knowledge of data and reporting analytics.
- Strong test case management organization skills.
- Experience in automation architecture and CICD pipelines.
- Familiarity with test architecture best practices.
