This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP Safety and Stratas Foods procedures and policies.
The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating an electric powered industrial forklift to move locate relocate stack push pull tier and count product and materials. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operations of the vehicle in a manner that meets Stratas Foods standards for quality productivity and accuracy.

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the minimum knowledge skill and/or ability required.
Above average endurance and coordination including handeye handfoot and balance is expected and required as the employee will need to climb on racking systems up to 15 above the ground to reach product. Bending is required to reach product or debris as well as crouching under racking and getting on and off the forklift is required. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands to fingers reach stretch bend kneel and/or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision ability to distinguish color and peripheral vision. Perception of sound is required
Additional Information :
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm (Ocassional Satudays and overtime elegibility)
