Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development & Implementation:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies that adhere to local national and international regulations.

    • Ensure policies are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

    • Implement and disseminate compliance policies across the organization.
       

  • Oversight & Monitoring:

    • Establish and manage processes to monitor compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

    • Establish processes for policy gap analysis and identification of areas for improvement; implement mechanisms for waiver/exception approval and management

    • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to compliance policies.

    • Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.
       

  • Leadership & Strategy:

    • Develop and execute a strategic plan for compliance policy management and oversight.

    • Serve as a key advisor to senior management on compliance policy and oversight matters.
       

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess compliance risks related to company policies and procedures.

    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.

    • Ensure effective controls are in place to manage compliance risks.
       

  • Training & Education:

    • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance policies and their responsibilities.

    • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
       

  • Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare and present reports on compliance policy effectiveness and oversight activities to senior management and the board of directors.

    • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of compliance policies procedures and oversight activities.


Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience in compliance policy development and oversight preferably within the payments or financial services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance policies.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High ethical standards and integrity.
